PRAKTIK PELAKSANAAN RETENSI DAN PEMUSNAHAN DOKUMEN REKAM MEDIS RAWAT INAP DAN RAWAT JALAN DI UPT PUSKESMAS JABUNG

Abstract

Minister of Health Regulation 269 of 2008 concerning Medical Records states that medical records in non-hospital service facilities must be kept for at least a period of 2 (two) years starting from the last date the patient received treatment. The aimed of this research was to practice implementing retention of inpatient and outpatient medical record files. This type of research was qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method was carried out using interviews and observation methods. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and was presented in narrative form. The population consisted of 3 medical record officers. The sample was 3 medical record officers. The sampling technique used Total Sampling where the sample size was the same as the population. The research was carried out 10 July 2023- 05 August 2023 at the Jabung Community Health Center, located in the medical records room. The research results showed that the number of patients per year was the average patient. Retention of medical records at the Jabung Community Health Center has never been implemented. The conclusion was that retention was an activity of sorting active and inactive medical record files to avoid accumulation of medical record files.
