This community service program aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial mindset and enhance the entrepreneurial
knowledge of vocational students through the workshop “Think Big, Start Small: From Idea to Business” at SMK
NU Miftahul Huda Kepanjen. The partner’s main challenges include low entrepreneurial interest, limited ability
to identify personal potential and market opportunities, and the absence of practical guidance on how to start a
business. The workshop was conducted using an experiential learning approach through interactive materials,
group discussions, business idea exploration, and guided practice using the Business Model Canvas (BMC).
Students’ competencies were evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessments. The results show a significant
improvement in entrepreneurial understanding, indicated by the post-test findings where 91% of students
achieved scores above 90. Students also successfully developed simple business ideas aligned with their vocational
skills, demonstrated clear comprehension of the nine BMC components, and produced concise mini business
proposals. Moreover, the workshop encouraged the initiation of a Studentpreneur Club as a collaborative platform
to sustain entrepreneurial activities within the school. Overall, this program effectively enhanced students’
entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and attitudes, contributing to the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem
among young learners in vocational education.
