This community service program aims to enhance elementary school children’s understanding and awareness of
Islamic manners (adab Islami) and healthy eating habits based on the Isi Piringku (My Plate) nutrition guideline.
The activity was conducted at Mushola Baitul Jannah Klojen as an integration of religious character education
and balanced nutrition learning. The main problems identified were the children’s low awareness of maintaining
order and cleanliness in the place of worship, as well as their limited knowledge of balanced nutrition. The
implementation method used a participatory approach through interactive learning, simulations, discussions, and
hands-on practice that combined Islamic values with nutrition education. The main learning media utilized was
the official Isi Piringku brochure issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The results showed that children
demonstrated improved understanding and behavior related to Islamic manners, such as keeping the mosque clean
and behaving respectfully during worship, as well as increased knowledge of balanced meal composition and
healthy eating habits. Furthermore, this program strengthened the role of the mosque as a community-based center
for character development and public health promotion. Overall, the activity contributed to fostering a generation
of young people who are morally upright, knowledgeable, and health-conscious from an early age.
