Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance legal understanding, transparency awareness, and accountability within the Banjarsari Village Government, Kasembon District, Malang Regency. Legal education was carried out as an effort to strengthen the capacity of village officials and the community in implementing the principles of good governance at the local level. The implementation methods included training, socialization, and participatory evaluation. The results show an increase in the legal understanding of village officials, the establishment of transparency and accountability guidelines, and
greater community participation in village meetings and supervision. This activity proves that an educative and participatory approach can encourage behavioral change in village bureaucracy and strengthen a clean, transparent, and accountable governance system.
