OPTIMALISASI PENGGUNAAN REKAM MEDIS ELEKTRONIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI PELAYANAN KESEHATAN DI PUSKESMAS TAJINAN

Abstract

The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in healthcare facilities aims to improve service efficiency and effectiveness. This study aims to optimize the use of EMR at UPT Puskesmas Tajinan, Malang Regency, to enhance the speed, accuracy, and quality of healthcare services. The evaluation methods employed include direct observation, in-depth interviews with medical and non-medical staff, and situation analysis using the fishbone, USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth), and SWOT methods. The evaluation results indicate that the main obstacles in EMR usage include the absence of structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), limited hardware, and a lack of staff training related to EMR usage.
Additionally, issues such as unstable internet connectivity and the lack of integration between outpatient and inpatient data were identified as key challenges in optimizing EMR. The SWOT analysis suggests that the development of internal regulations, regular training, and technological infrastructure improvements are the primary strategies needed to maximize the benefits of EMR at Puskesmas Tajinan.The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of optimization steps in EMR usage, which will have a significant impact on the efficiency of healthcare services at Puskesmas Tajinan and serve as a reference for improving healthcare service quality at the primary care level.
