PENINGKATAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP BECANA BANJIR MELALUI PENYULUHAN MITIGASI BENCANA DI KELURAHAN SAWOJAJAR KOTA MALANG

Abstract

Natural disasters are disasters caused by natural events including flood disasters. Flood disasters are natural disasters caused by the overflow of drinking water to the ground surface. Flood disasters cause both physical and non-physical losses to the communities affected by the flood. Therefore, it is very important to provide education to the community regarding disaster mitigation. Mitigation is an effort to recognize risks, raise awareness of disaster risks and plan for disaster disturbances. The community service activities carried out aim to provide understanding to the community regarding pre-disaster mitigation and during a disaster. Community service is carried out in Sawojajar 1 sub-district, Malang City. Meanwhile, the method of community service in this activity is counseling and providing material to the community.
